Deletion of your account and data

You can request deletion of your account directly from the application.

Before any permanent deletion, Kinioo asks you for explicit confirmation.

1. Log in to your Kinioo account.
2. Open your Profile.
3. In the Sensitive area, select Schedule account deletion.
4. Enter your current password and the word SUPPRIMER.
5. Select Schedule deletion to confirm.

Deleting an account results in the deletion or anonymization of the personal data associated with the account, depending on its nature and the applicable obligations.

This may include in particular:

• profile information;
• invoices, receipts and attachments;
• documents and files added;
• saved budgets, income and expenses;
• reminders;
• comments and information saved with your invoices or documents;
• household subscriptions;
• information related to family organization;
• account preferences and settings;
• other data directly associated with the account.

However, certain data may be retained for a limited period when necessary to comply with a legal, accounting or security obligation, or to resolve a dispute.

Kinioo allows several people to share certain information in the same family space.

The service automatically determines the scope of deletion based on your role and the composition of the household. When deletion is limited to your profile, your private data is deleted. Certain shared information may remain accessible to other members when it forms part of the shared family space.

The accounts and private data of other users are not deleted when only one profile is concerned. The entire family space can be deleted only when the conditions provided for in Kinioo are met.

Deleting an account and cancelling a subscription are two different operations.

When deletion is limited to your profile, it takes effect immediately and does not change household billing.

When deletion of the household is initiated while a paid subscription period is in progress, Kinioo schedules cancellation of the subscription and permanent deletion of the household at the end of that period.

If there is no paid subscription period to preserve, deletion of the household may take effect immediately after confirmation.

Deleting an account is a significant action.

Once deletion becomes permanent and takes effect, the deleted data generally cannot be restored.

Before confirming deletion, check that you have saved elsewhere any information or documents you wish to keep.

Certain copies of deleted data may remain temporarily in Kinioo’s backup systems.

These copies are not intended for normal use after the account is deleted and gradually disappear in accordance with the applicable backup and retention cycles.

To protect your data, we may ask you for certain information to verify that you are the holder of the account concerned.

Whenever possible, use the email address associated with your Kinioo account to submit your request.

Never send your password.

Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Certain requests may require prior verification of the requester’s identity or additional time when legal, technical or security obligations must be taken into account.
