Data protection statement

This policy explains how Avyro collects, uses, protects and retains users’ personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Our aim is to ensure processing that is transparent, secure and respectful of your privacy.

No bank connection

Avyro never accesses your bank accounts and does not establish any bank connection. The financial information processed in Avyro is only the information you choose to import or enter in the application.

1. Controller

The data controller is Avyro.

Avyro is an online service operated from Switzerland by its founders.

2. Data collected

Depending on your use of the service, Avyro may process the following data:

  • Account data: last name, first name, email address, language, user preferences.
  • Authentication data: encrypted password, external login provider if used.
  • Financial data entered or imported: invoices, amounts, due dates, payment statuses, categories, budgets, recurring expenses.
  • Imported documents: PDF files, images or other documents related to your invoices.
  • Household or family data: invited members, roles, access rights and shared settings.
  • Subscription and payment data: selected plan, subscription status, payment history, references transmitted by Stripe.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, security logs, technical errors and events required for the service to operate properly.

Avyro does not store complete bank card data. Payments are processed by Stripe or by the indicated payment provider.

3. Login and authentication

You can create an Avyro account with an email address and password, or sign in through a third-party authentication provider when this option is offered, for example Google.

If you use Google Login, Avyro receives only the information needed to identify the account, such as name, email address and provider identifier.

Facebook Login is currently disabled in Avyro and is not offered to users.

4. Purposes of processing

Avyro processes personal data to:

  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Enable invoice import, tracking and organization.
  • Manage budgets, reminders and recurring expenses.
  • Send notifications, transactional emails and reminders.
  • Manage subscriptions, payments and payment invoices.
  • Ensure security, abuse prevention and service maintenance.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Providers and processors

Avyro uses technical providers required for the operation of the service. These providers receive only the data needed to perform their mission.

  • Infomaniak: hosting, infrastructure, domain or emails depending on the configuration.
  • Stripe: management of payments, subscriptions, invoices and payment methods.
  • Google: authentication when the user chooses Google Login.
  • Meta/Facebook: only if Facebook Login is reactivated later.
  • SMTP or transactional email provider: sending emails related to the account, reminders and support.

6. Artificial intelligence

Avyro may use artificial intelligence features to analyze imported documents, prepare useful information and propose it for validation. Prepared data is presented to the user for validation or correction before final storage.

Avyro does not make automated individual decisions producing legal or significant effects.

7. Data retention

Data is retained for as long as your Avyro account is active or for as long as necessary to provide the service.

If the account is deleted, associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention obligations, in particular for payments, accounting, security or abuse prevention.

8. Cookies and analytics

Avyro uses cookies required for login, security, CSRF and language preference. Analytics, non-essential functional or marketing cookies are only activated with explicit consent.

9. Security

Avyro implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration and disclosure. Access is limited to people and systems that require it.

10. User rights

In accordance with applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion of your data.
  • Restriction of or objection to certain processing where provided by law.
  • Information about processing activities carried out.
